Warm Pepper Salad

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Green peppers
  • 1 Orange peppers
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Pizza bread - it should go fast today

Instructions
 

  • Wash and clean the peppers and peel them with a peeler (or using the tube method). Wash and peel the tomatoes as well, remove the core content. Cut everything into fine strips. Clean the onion and garlic, remove the internal germs and cut into strips or fine cubes.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the sugar and let it caramelize. Then add peppers and tomatoes and stew everything for about 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, heat the pizza bread in the oven or grill of the microwave. Season the paprika salad with lemon zest, the juice of half a lemon, salt and pepper. Possibly a little olive oil with it.
  • Soak the pizza bread with plenty of olive oil and enjoy with the warm salad.
