Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 25 g yeast
  • ⅛ liter milk, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g butter, soft
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Raisins for decoration
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten, for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours

You need small clay pipes. Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. Add the crumbled yeast and mix with the milk and some of the flour to form a dough. Let the dough rise for 15 minutes. Add melted butter, egg yolk, and salt to the dough and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise. Then roll out the dough and cut out 6 male figures. Place them on a baking sheet and brush with egg yolk. Press in raisins for eyes/buttons. Press the clay pipe into the male figure. Let the figures rise a little longer and then bake at 175-200°C for about 15-18 minutes until light brown. About the shapes: I first form a ball for the head and flatten it. Then “knead” an oval piece of dough onto the head and also flatten it slightly. Now all you need to do is cut a little to the left and right of the oval with a knife and bend the arms away – as well as cut in the middle from below and bend the legs away.
