Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 thick potatoes
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • e.g. oil or butter
  • curry powder
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

First, clean the potatoes under lukewarm water. Then halve each potato and halve them again. Depending on their size, you can also cut them into sixths or eighths. Simply arrange the finished wedges on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Now finely grate the garlic cloves; alternatively, you can press them through a press with a little salt and toss them with oil or melted butter. If you like, add salt too. You can also season the whole thing with curry and/or paprika, depending on your taste. Pepper should not be left out, though. Now spread the mixture evenly over the raw potato wedges. Now roughly mix the wedges again with your hands and put them in the oven. Bake at 180°C for a good 35-45 minutes to see if they are done. We serve the wedges with meat, herb quark, or simply fish with mayonnaise.
