Wednesday Pot

The perfect wednesday pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Mixed minced meat
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 1,5 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 kg Sliced ​​potatoes, preferably from the day before
  • 800 g Canned tomatoes
  • 4 Stalk Chopped parsley
  • 0,25 liter Meat broth (cubes)
  • Sour cream or sour cream
  1. Sear the minced meat in the oil in a large roasting pan, crumble the minced meat with a wooden spoon and season with salt, pepper and thyme.
  1. Add the potato slices, the tomatoes with the juice from the can and finely chopped parsley to the minced meat. Mash the tomatoes with the wooden spoon. Pour hot broth on top and let everything simmer for 10 minutes until the broth is absorbed by the potatoes.
  1. Season the dish to taste and serve immediately. If you like, you can add a spoonful of Schmad or sour cream to the served dish. Makes the whole thing a little rounder.
  1. I recommend a green salad as a side dish.
