Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 10 schnitzels
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 kg vegetable onion(s)
  • 250 g cooked ham, in one piece
  • 250 g bacon, whole
  • 2 liters of whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

Ideal for parties

Coat the schnitzels in eggs and breadcrumbs, then fry. Then chill. Slice the onions into rings, and dice the cooked ham and bacon. Place the ham cubes and onion rings in a bowl with the cream, cover, and let stand for 24 hours. Place the schnitzels in a casserole dish or roasting pan. Drizzle the cream with the ham and onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
