Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 packages of herring fillet(s) of 250 g each
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 6 small onions
  • 1 large cup of yogurt
  • 1 cup whipped cream, small
  • Pickle(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • e.g. vinegar and oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Cut the herring into small pieces, chop the apples and cucumbers, and add to the herring. Slice the onions into rings and add. Pour the yogurt and whipped cream over the herring and mix everything well. Season with pepper, salt, and a little sugar. If you like, you can also add a little oil and vinegar. We personally find it fresher and lighter this way. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours. Serve with fresh, small boiled potatoes.
