What Foods Should not be Combined With Bananas – An Expert

Banana mix, a bunch of bananas, and a blender, the topic Healthy Eating.

Pavlo Isanbayev explained what a banana is compatible with and what it is not. Pavel Isanbayev, a weight loss specialist at the Bormental clinic in Chelyabinsk, explained what foods cannot be combined with each other. In particular, he explained what a banana is compatible with and what it is not.

Most often, we buy either overripe or unripe bananas.

Unripe bananas are not recommended for those

  • who have poor fiber digestion;
  • those with intestinal problems;
  • if there are problems with the gallbladder or pancreas.

“In this case, unripe bananas will lead to bloating,” Isanbayev warned.

Also, do not combine such bananas with other sources of fiber.

“For example, if you are making a fruit salad, do not add apples to unripe bananas, let alone vegetables, as they will increase the bloating effect,” the expert emphasized.

Overripe bananas contain a lot of sugar. Therefore, additional sources of carbohydrates will be superfluous here.

“Thus, the popular banana-chocolate desserts are not recommended for people with a tendency to increase blood glucose levels,” Isanbayev explained.
