Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 25 g tomato paste
- 25 g ketchup
- 2 tsp dried rosemary, if using fresh rosemary please double the amount!
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 200 ml milk (full milk, possibly replace half with cream)
- 2 cl whiskey, or amount to taste
- salt and pepper
- Sauce thickener
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
turns everyday roast pork into a feast
Heat tomato paste, ketchup, rosemary, sugar, and whole milk in a saucepan. Add whiskey to taste and thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener. Season with salt and pepper. Note: If you like, you can replace 100 ml of whole milk with cream. Personally, I find the sauce too heavy.
