White beans in tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 530 g white beans with soup vegetables
  • 250 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • e.g. salt or seasoning salt
  • e.g. chili powder
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • Rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Fry diced onions in rapeseed oil over medium heat until golden brown. Add the finely chopped garlic to the pan a little later than the onions. Once the onions are browned to your liking, add the passata and let the mixture simmer for a bit longer. Then add the beans. Season with turmeric, pepper, salt, and chili. Then simmer for another 5 minutes over low heat. I opted for the canned beans with the soup vegetables (leeks, carrots, and onions). In my opinion, this pairs perfectly with this dish. A quick, easy, and delicious dish for under €2!
