White chocolate ice cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 100 g chocolate, white
  • 300 g cream
  • 50 g yogurt, whole milk
  • 50 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Cut the chocolate into small cubes and place it in a small saucepan with 100g of cream. Heat gently, stirring constantly with a whisk, until the chocolate has melted. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk thoroughly until smooth. Then, using a whisk, thoroughly stir the yogurt into the warm chocolate mixture and transfer everything to a cool mixing bowl to cool (at room temperature). Whisk the remaining cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and, in portions, carefully but thoroughly mix into the cooled chocolate mixture (the mixture may still be lukewarm). Place the ice cream mixture in the ice cream maker for 10-15 minutes. Then transfer it to a freezer container and freeze for approximately 2 hours. This recipe yields approximately 0.7l of ice cream.
