White chocolate mousse with mint and strawberry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 50 ml milk
  • 100 g white chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 1 tbsp mint, fresh, chopped
  • 100 ml cream (full cream), stiffly whipped
  • 100 g strawberries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp mineral water
  • some strawberries, cleaned
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

For the mousse, bring the milk to a boil in a pan. Then remove the pan from the heat and melt the chocolate in it. Let it cool slightly. Stir the mint and cream into the still-melted chocolate. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. For the sauce, puree some hulled strawberries with vanilla sugar, lemon juice, and mineral water. Spread the puree over the mousse. Finally, garnish with strawberries and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
