Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour type 405
  • 500 g whole wheat flour
  • 700 ml water, lukewarm
  • 5 tsp salt
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • 50 g flaxseed, crushed

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Combine water, flaxseed, yeast, and salt, then gradually add the flour and stir for 5 minutes. Pour the dough into a large baking dish and let it rise for 10 minutes. Then place it in a cold oven and bake on the bottom rack at 230°C for 60 minutes. It’s best to keep a bowl of water nearby.
