Pomegranate-orange syrup

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter pomegranate juice
  • 500 ml orange juice
  • 700 g sugar (syrup sugar)
  • 300 g vanilla sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 4 carnations

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Combine the pomegranate juice and orange juice in a saucepan along with the syrup sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the cinnamon bark and cloves to the pan. Bring the ingredients to a boil over medium heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and discard the spices. Immediately pour the hot pomegranate-orange syrup into prepared, clean bottles.
