Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 100 g bran (wheat)
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Combine the dry ingredients. Then add the water and knead into a dough. The dough will still be relatively moist and sticky. Cover and let rise for 1 to 2 hours, until it has doubled in size. Knead again and shape into a loaf. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20-30 minutes. If the bread becomes too brown, reduce the temperature.
