In particular, blueberries contain a lot of silicon, which strengthens bones, and improves joint mobility, skin, hair, and nails. Blueberries also contain a lot of iron, iodine, manganese, and antioxidants. In addition, this berry contains myrtillin, which lowers blood sugar levels.

“Eating fresh blueberries, a person absorbs only a part of their beneficial properties, as the stone is practically undigested. At the same time, many of the berry’s valuable substances are found in the bone,” the expert wrote on Instagram.
