Wild garlic and onion puree

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 handful of wild garlic
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes and cook in salted water, possibly with 1 to 2 teaspoons of vegetable soup powder. Now finely chop the onions and sauté them in a pan with a little butter until golden brown. Finally, mix the finely chopped wild garlic with the onions. Drain the cooked potatoes, add the warm milk, and mash to a puree. Mix the onion and wild garlic mixture into the puree and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. The puree goes well with meatballs, sausages, roasts, etc.
