  • 250 g butter
  • 1 red chili pepper(s)
  • 1 lime(s), untreated, zest
  • 1 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 tsp sea salt, coarse
  • 1 bunch of wild garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

A spiced butter with wild garlic, chili and lime

Soften the butter. Meanwhile, halve the chili, remove the seeds, and finely chop. Grate the lime zest. Finely chop the wild garlic. Add the wild garlic, chopped chili, and lime zest to the butter, mix, and season with salt and pepper. Now you can shape the butter into rosettes using a piping bag or place it in a decorative bowl. Decorate with a little chopped wild garlic. You can also make the butter in larger batches, portion it out, and freeze it. It goes perfectly with steak, but also with turkey or grilled chicken.
