Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ¾ liter white wine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 1 kg apples, grated (Boskoop), possibly more
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 13 hours

Quickly knead the dough ingredients into a shortcrust pastry. Line a greased (adequately deep!) springform pan with it. Bring the wine, sugar, and custard powder to a boil. Fold the grated apples into the custard mixture and pour the slightly cooled mixture into the pan. Bake at 170°C on the second rack from the bottom for 90 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly in the pan, ideally overnight. Whip the cream with the cream stabilizer and sugar until stiff. Spread this mixture over the cake and finish with a light dusting of cinnamon.
