Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g cake (vanilla cake), homemade or purchased
  • 2 apples
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 150 ml vanilla sauce, homemade or purchased
  • 50 g sugar
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

enough for 6 glasses of approx. 150 ml each

Either cut out rounds from the vanilla cake or crumble it and cover the bottom of the glass with them. Drizzle a teaspoon of vanilla sauce over each one. Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces, and sauté them in a pan over medium heat with butter, cinnamon, and a sachet of vanilla sugar for about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly. Briefly mix the mascarpone with the remaining vanilla sauce, the sugar, and the second sachet of vanilla sugar until smooth. Now divide the apples between the glasses. Using a piping bag, pipe the mascarpone decoratively on top and dust with cocoa powder.
