Mango and pear ragout with lime juice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 mango(s), ripe
  • 1 large pear(s)
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 lime(s)
  • some coconut blossom syrup, if necessary

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Peel and dice the mango. Wash, halve, core, and dice the pear. Simmer the fruit in the water for about 5-8 minutes. Let cool. Meanwhile, squeeze the lime and add the juice. If desired, add a little zest—only with organic or untreated lemons. Finally, you can sweeten with coconut blossom syrup. I find the ripe fruit provides enough sweetness.
