Wok vegetables with chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken fillet(s)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp spice mix (Chinese seasoning)
  • 1 can of bamboo slices
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow and green
  • 2 onions
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sauce (Asian sauce, sweet and sour)
  • 2 bags of rice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Wash the meat, pat dry, and cut into strips. Mix 2 tablespoons of oil with the Chinese seasoning until smooth. Mix well with the meat and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Drain the bamboo shoots well. Trim, wash, and slice the peppers. Peel, halve, and slice the onions into thick strips. Brown the meat all over with the seasoning oil in a hot wok or large frying pan for 2-3 minutes, then remove. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the wok and fry the onions and peppers for about 5 minutes and the bamboo shoots for about 2 minutes. Add the meat back in and heat briefly. Season to taste with soy sauce and Asian sauce. Serve with the rice.
