Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 cake base (sponge cake base)
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g sour milk
  • 50 g sugar
  • 140 ml woodruff syrup
  • lemon(s)
  • 2 packs of gelatin
  • 1 pack of woodruff jelly
  • ¼ liter woodruff syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Whip the cream and vanilla sugar until stiff, then fold the sour cream, sugar, woodruff syrup, lemon juice, and gelatin (soaked beforehand) into the cream. Spread everything over the base and chill for 2 hours. Cook the jelly with 1/8 l water and 1/4 l woodruff syrup and let it cool. Then pour it over the cream cake and chill overnight. This is an IDEAL cake for a child’s birthday party!
