Woodruff punch

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 bunch woodruff
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 bottles of white wine
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 15 minutes

May punch

Sort the woodruff, remove the stems, wash, and drain well. Cover with sugar and 0.5 bottle of wine and let it steep for 30 minutes. Then strain into a chilled punch bowl and top up with the remaining chilled wine and chilled sparkling wine. Keep the punch well chilled! A punch bowl with an ice insert is best. Or place the punch bowl in a bowl filled with ice – do not add ice to the punch bowl under any circumstances!
