Wraps with chicken and kidney beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 can kidney beans in chili sauce
  • 50 g feta cheese or cow’s milk herder’s cheese, diced
  • 1 tsp oil or margarine
  • 4 wraps
  • some salt and pepper
  • possibly cream cheese
  • possibly lettuce or tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, cut the chicken breast into small pieces. Then fry it in a little oil or margarine. Season with salt and pepper. Add the kidney beans in the chili sauce. Heat the beans over low heat. When everything is hot, stir in the feta cheese and heat briefly. Heat the unfilled wraps in the microwave at 900 W for about 30-40 seconds. If you don’t have a microwave, you can also heat the wraps in a pan or in the oven. If you like, you can spread the now slightly warmed or even hot wraps with cream cheese. If you don’t like that, simply omit the cream cheese. Then cover with the chicken and bean mixture and roll up as tightly as possible. You can also spread some lettuce or a few chopped tomatoes on the wrap before adding the chicken and bean mixture.
