Fudgy cookie with vanilla ice cream like at Montgomery Champs
Beat the egg and softened butter until fluffy, then add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt and mix in. Add the baking soda and gradually mix in the flour. Finally, fold in the chocolate. (I used the coarsely chopped chocolate from Dr. Oetker.) To create the round shape of the cookie, you can use a cake pan, pour the batter into it, and smooth it out. Remove the pan. Bake the cookie at 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 5-9 minutes. This depends on how moist/fudgy or crispy you like it. After baking, carefully lift the cookie off the baking sheet and let it cool briefly. Serve the still-warm cookie with vanilla ice cream and waffle rolls. I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter for the ice cream. If you’re having trouble picturing how to serve it, check out my YouTube channel.
