Yeast Buttermilk Waffle

The perfect yeast buttermilk waffle recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 100 g Sugar brown
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 450 ml Buttermilk
  • 30 g Yeast cubes
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  1. Sift the flour, sugar, vanilla and salt into a bowl. Heat the butter and mix it with the Zimmer warm buttermilk and crumble and dissolve the yeast.
  2. Stir in the flour mixture and cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  3. Then bake the dough in portions in the waffle iron. Serve with powdered sugar. I myself love them with whipped cream and fresh seasonal fruit. “AND POWDER SUGAR”
