Yeast Waffles with Buttermilk

  • 0,5 Yeast cubes
  • 0,125 l Milk lukewarm
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 200 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla sugar
  • 60 g Melted butter
  • 350 g Flour
  1. Crumble the yeast with the milk and stir in a 1 tbsp and let rise for 15 minutes in a warm place. Mix all the remaining ingredients with the yeast mixture in a large bowl and let rise for 45 minutes, so the waffles will also be nice and thick! PATIENCE As soon as the 45 minutes are up, the waffle iron is heated. Put a tablespoon on the iron, spread the batter and after 3 minutes you can take out the waffles with a fork.
