Ingredients for 24 servings:

  • 15 g yeast
  • 500 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 500 g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

English tea buns

Dissolve the yeast with a little sugar in the milk. Mix the remaining sugar with the flour and salt, add the yeast milk, knead into a soft dough, and let it rise. Prepare the muffin tin. Using 2 tablespoons, scoop out balls of dough and place them in the holes. Let rise. Bake the muffins at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
