Curry turkey strips with rice for children

Pour salted water into a pot, add the turmeric, then add the rice and simmer for about 20 minutes. Wash the meat and cut into 3-4 cm cubes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Heat the fat in a pan and sear the meat on all sides. Stir in the sambal oelek. Dice the banana and add it to the meat. Fry until the banana is softened. The banana must be ripe and soft. Dice the peaches and add them. Reduce the heat and, after about 2 minutes, add the cream and about 100 ml of the peach juice. The amount of peach juice determines the sweetness of the dish. If you don’t like it quite so sweet, you can use less or omit it altogether. Season well with curry until everything has turned a light yellow color. If necessary, add half a teaspoon of turmeric for color. Then simmer until the sauce is creamy. Drain the rice in a sieve. Add a little butter to the pot and toss the rice in it. Then serve the rice with the meat and sauce on a plate.
