Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pot of natural yogurt or lemon yogurt (150 g)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 some lemon zest
  • 2 tsp margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Recipe for yogurt cake from my Spanish mother-in-law

The yogurt cup serves as a measuring unit. Pour the yogurt into a small bowl. Beat the eggs with the sugar. Sift in the flour and baking powder. Add the sunflower oil. Mix everything together. Stir in the lemon yogurt or natural yogurt with lemon zest. Pour into a greased loaf or bundt pan and bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
