Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 40 g butter or 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp bran (wheat)
  • 1 tbsp, leveled salt
  • 2 cups of yogurt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Knead all ingredients with room-temperature yogurt until a smooth, soft dough forms. Cover and let rise for one hour. Knead thoroughly and roll out into a finger-thick sheet of dough. Cut into 8 slices like a cake and roll up from the wide end. Place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise again. Then bake at approximately 250°C for 12 to 15 minutes.
