Yogurt cup cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pot of natural yogurt (approx. 150 – 200 g)
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

For all ingredients, use the yogurt cup as a measurement. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix briefly but thoroughly with a hand mixer. Pour the mixture into a baking dish (I usually use a ring dish with a ribbed tube base). Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 50 minutes until it has a nice brown color. Let it cool slightly and then remove from the dish. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. The batter can be varied endlessly: You can stir a little cocoa powder into half of the batter to make a marble cake. You can stir in almonds, coconut, nuts, etc. Chocolate chips are also great. A little rum or anise for flavoring. Drizzle with chocolate glaze once the cake has cooled. Cut it in half and fill it with cream. And so on…
