Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups poppy seeds, grated
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • Jam, according to your taste
  • Butter and flour for the baking tray

quick and easy and of course delicious

First of all: The cup size refers to a 250 ml serving. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla until frothy, stir in the oil, and fold in the remaining ingredients (except the icing sugar and lemon juice). Spread the mixture onto a greased and floured baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Spread the cooled cake with jam and glaze with icing sugar and lemon juice.
