Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

lightning fast and easy, ideal for breakfast

Mix the flour and baking powder. Stir in the remaining ingredients, except for the milk, until a pliable dough forms. This works best with a dough hook. With floured hands, form about 8 equal-sized balls. If the dough is still a bit too sticky, simply add a little more flour, but only as much as necessary. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cut a cross into the surface. This works particularly well with scissors. Brush with milk and bake on the middle rack at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned. We like them best when they are still lukewarm from the oven. The dough yields 8 rolls, but when calculating the quantities, make sure the rolls are smaller than regular rolls from the bakery. Although the rolls have a sweet note, they also taste very good with savory toppings.
