delicious and simple dish with creamy sauce

Halve the sausage and then slice it. Cut the zucchini in the same way, so that the pieces are roughly the same size. Dice the onions or (if larger pieces don’t bother you) cut them in half and then into rings. First, heat the oil in a pan and fry the sliced sausage until it starts to brown. Then add the onions and continue to cook until the onions are translucent. Add the zucchini. Stir occasionally and let it fry for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the tomatoes and add them when the zucchini are soft. Stir in the diced tomatoes well and let the whole thing simmer for about 3-5 minutes. Then reduce the heat, stir in the cream cheese and let it melt. Do not let the whole thing boil again, so that the cream cheese does not curdle! Season with salt and pepper. Baguette goes well with this, but potatoes would also be good.
