Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 750 g quark (half low-fat quark)
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 cloves garlic
- some milk
- Broth, clear
- ½ bunch dill, fresh
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Wash and coarsely grate the cucumber. Finely chop the onions. Crush the garlic cloves. Finely chop the fresh dill. Combine everything with the quark in a bowl and season with plenty of clear broth (3-4 teaspoons), a little salt, and freshly ground pepper. Stir well and let stand for a while. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can thin the tzatziki with milk.
