Ingredients

  • 1 size Zucchini
  • 6 Discs Cooked ham
  • 6 Discs Gouda in slices
  • Salt pepper
  • Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Clarified butter for frying

Instructions

  • Cut the zucchini (ideally a diameter of at least 10 cm) into approx. 5 mm thick slices.
  • Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese between each 2 zucchini slices.
  • I cut the ham and cheese a little round. The main thing is that it doesn't stick out too much.
  • Then season the cordon blue (you don't have to fix it with a toothpick or the like, the slices hold together so well) with salt and pepper and bread.
  • First turn in flour, then in beaten egg and finally in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the courgette cordon blue on both sides until crispy.
  • There is also a salad or a delicious lukewarm starter.
