Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-large zucchini
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 tomatoes, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 bunch oregano, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fine zucchini vegetables

Wash and trim the zucchini and cut into evenly thin slices. Render the fat in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the zucchini slices and sauté briefly. Add the vinegar, white wine, and cream. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and oregano. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Cover and simmer for another 5 minutes.
