Zucchini Feta Skewers for Grilling
The perfect zucchini feta skewers for grilling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Feta
- 2 Pc. Thick zucchini
- Olive oil
- Salt pepper
- 2 tbsp Tk-8 herbal mixture
- 1 Pc. Garlic clove pressed through
- 1 Pc. Onion, finely diced
- Feta seasoning or Mediterranean seasoning mix, if you like
- Crema di balsamic vinegar
- Toothpick
- Mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, herb mixture, garlic and onion together. Stir in the feta seasoning if you like.
- Peel thin strips lengthways from the washed zucchini with a peeler. Cut the feta into cubes. Wrap one feta cube with a zucchini strip and pin it with a toothpick.
- Baste the skewers with the marinade and cover, leave to stand in the refrigerator overnight. Drizzle with a little crema di balsamic vinegar.
- The skewers can either be fried in the pan over medium heat, or on the grill in an aluminum grill tray at not too high a heat.
