Small Mandarins – Cheese – Tartlets …

The perfect small mandarins – cheese – tartlets … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 40 g Butter
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 75 g Flour
  • 1 small can Mandarins
  • 125 g Quark
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Custard powder
  • Powdered sugar
  • Mint leaves
  1. Knead a shortcrust pastry out of butter, egg yolk, sugar, salt and flour. Wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Drain the tangerines. Catch the juice.
  2. Mix the quark with the egg, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in 2 tablespoons of mandarin juice and pudding powder. Fold in the tangerines.
  3. Grease two tartlet molds. Halve the dough, roll out and place in the tins. Prick the bottoms several times with a fork.
  4. Spread the curd mixture on the two bases. Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  5. Carefully remove the tartlets from the molds. Place on dessert plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Garnish with mint.
