Zucchini rings in beer batter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large zucchini
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 150 ml beer
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the zucchini and cut into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Remove the core, forming a ring. Stir the remaining ingredients into the beer batter (the consistency should resemble pancake batter). Dip the zucchini rings into the batter and fry them in batches in a hot pan with oil until golden brown. Serve hot.
