Zucchini Rösti

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g zucchini
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 50 g crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper, ground
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp thyme, dried
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg, grated
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 150 g ham (beef ham), cold cuts
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and coarsely grate the zucchini, drain in a sieve, and then place in a bowl. Peel and crush the garlic. Stir into the zucchini along with the thyme, egg, cornstarch, and nutmeg, and season with salt and pepper. Fry small portions of the mixture in hot oil on both sides until golden brown. Mix the crème fraîche with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Serve the zucchini rösti with cream and ham on plates.
