10 Minute Bread
The perfect 10 minute bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Wheat flour type 450
- 1 sake Yeast cubes
- 12 g Salt
- 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon Fennel
- 1 teaspoon Anise
- 1 teaspoon Coriander
- 450 ml Lukewarm water
- 450 ml Flour for dusting
- 450 ml Water for brushing

- 1 ….. to Clodin …. the basic recipe for this ingenious jerk bread is from her – I’ve already prepared it several times, changed the spices a little and worked with fresh germ instead of dry yeast – and I’m excited
1. Schritt
- Remove a few tablespoons of the lukewarm water and sprinkle the yeast with it – salt together with the bread spices, mortar – then put all the ingredients in a bowl and stir briefly with a fork until a dough is formed (total workload no more than 2 minutes) – now if this dough remains covered for at least 15 to 18 hours at room temperature ….

- After the rest period, first preheat the oven to 250 degrees – then place the dough on a heavily floured work surface and work in a little flour until it no longer feels sticky (total workload about 3 minutes)

- To bake, we need a heat-resistant pan with a lid – dust it with flour – put the dough in it – cut into the surface of the dough with a knife – cover the bread and bake it in the preheated oven for 35 minutes at 250 degrees – then remove the lid and without a lid, bake for another 20 minutes at 220 degrees (work time approx. 2 minutes)
4. Schritt
- After the baking time, put the bread on a rack to cool down – the still hot rind is brushed all around with a brush – and our 10 min bread is DONE …. (work effort including clearing everything away approx. 3 min .)
