10 Minute Bread

The perfect 10 minute bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Wheat flour type 450
  • 1 sake Yeast cubes
  • 12 g Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel
  • 1 teaspoon Anise
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 450 ml Lukewarm water
  • 450 ml Flour for dusting
  • 450 ml Water for brushing

first of all thank you ….

  1. 1 ….. to Clodin …. the basic recipe for this ingenious jerk bread is from her – I’ve already prepared it several times, changed the spices a little and worked with fresh germ instead of dry yeast – and I’m excited

1. Schritt

  1. Remove a few tablespoons of the lukewarm water and sprinkle the yeast with it – salt together with the bread spices, mortar – then put all the ingredients in a bowl and stir briefly with a fork until a dough is formed (total workload no more than 2 minutes) – now if this dough remains covered for at least 15 to 18 hours at room temperature ….

2. Schritt

  1. After the rest period, first preheat the oven to 250 degrees – then place the dough on a heavily floured work surface and work in a little flour until it no longer feels sticky (total workload about 3 minutes)

3. Schritt

  1. To bake, we need a heat-resistant pan with a lid – dust it with flour – put the dough in it – cut into the surface of the dough with a knife – cover the bread and bake it in the preheated oven for 35 minutes at 250 degrees – then remove the lid and without a lid, bake for another 20 minutes at 220 degrees (work time approx. 2 minutes)

4. Schritt

  1. After the baking time, put the bread on a rack to cool down – the still hot rind is brushed all around with a brush – and our 10 min bread is DONE …. (work effort including clearing everything away approx. 3 min .)
