5-minute garlic toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ pkt. toast bread or regular bread
  • Garlic, fresh or garlic powder
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Oil or butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Rub the toast slices with garlic or sprinkle generously with garlic powder. Quarter the toast. Dice the onion. Heat the oil. Add the chopped onion to the oil and fry briefly. Fry the toast slices in the hot oil on both sides until they are nice and crispy. Season generously with salt and pepper. Season with garlic powder, if desired. Note: I like the garlic toast best when it’s really browned. It goes perfectly with salad or as a snack.
