Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of farmhouse bread (country/wood-fired bread)
- 2 pears, pitted, sliced
- 4 slices of cheese (Roquefort)
- butter
- Pear schnapps or pear liqueur
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
or other blue cheese
Spread the bread slices with butter. Arrange half a pear, sliced, on each slice. Drizzle with pear liqueur or pear brandy, if desired, and top with a slice of Roquefort cheese. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (fan oven) until the cheese melts slightly.
