Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2,000 g apples
  • 400 ml red wine
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 ml grenadine
  • 2 tbsp cranberries, from the jar
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pink pepper
  • 10 grains of allspice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel, trim, and dice the apples, peel and dice the onions, and also dice them. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour the mixture into the prepared twist-off jars while still hot, seal immediately, and let cool. It goes well with game, meat, and also enhances red cabbage and sauces.
