Rainbow cake with cocoa and gummy bears

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 175 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 2 drops of food coloring, red
  • 1 bag/s of sweets (e.g. Haribo Colorado)
  • 175 g chocolate
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Mix the flour with the baking powder, butter, sugar, and eggs to form a dough. Divide the dough into three bowls. Add the cocoa to one bowl and the food coloring to another. Now spoon all three portions alternately into a greased cake tin. Fold in roughly with a fork. Bake the cake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Once the cake has cooled, melt the chocolate in a water bath and pour it over the cake. Alternatively, you can use ready-made chocolate icing. Finally, decorate the cake with the sweets. For a more colorful cake, the dough can be divided into 4, 5, or more portions. These portions can then be mixed with different food colorings. A great cake, especially for children’s birthdays.
