Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with bratwurst and sauerkraut

First, peel the onions and then slice them into rings. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and sauté the onions until translucent. Dust with flour and stir vigorously. Add the ketchup and stir again, then add water until the desired consistency is reached. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. We like to serve this with mashed potatoes, bratwurst, sauerkraut, or liver.
