Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 125 ml milk
- 125 g butter, or margarine if desired
- 200 g sugar
- 300 g wheat flour or whole wheat flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 4 large apples

Whisk the eggs with the sugar. Boil the milk with the margarine and stir it into the egg mixture while still hot. Stir in the flour and baking powder. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat) or 175°C (fan oven). Spread the batter on a greased baking sheet or one lined with baking paper. Peel the apples and slice them into strips. Then arrange the apples in a row on the batter. Bake the cake for about 40-50 minutes, let it cool, and enjoy. The cake tastes best the next day.
