Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 100 ml water
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 shot of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 dash of soy sauce
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely chop the chili pepper, quarter the garlic and finely chop one quarter. Combine the chilies, garlic, pepper, and paprika and fry in olive oil until the garlic is lightly browned. Deglaze with water and simmer over medium heat, removing the coarsely chopped garlic. Stir in the ketchup, tomato paste, and honey. Season with salt, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar, and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. It’s perfect as a marinade or, thickened with a little thickener, as a sauce for grilled food.
